Treating Stretch Marks with Microdermabrasion

Microdermabrasion - Minimal Impact on Stretch Marks

Microdermabrasion will have very minimal impact on any stretch marks. I never recommend nor do I treat my own patients who have stretch marks with dermabrasion, which is much more serious than microdermabrasion. Destructive treatments such as dermabrasion, CO2 laser, Erbium Laser do not do a good job, in my opinion, on non-facial skin. Using them to stretch marks is probably just going to make them worse.
